WB05

The WB05 is a high slew rate,high current, wideband buffer capable of internal power dissipation of up to 15 watts.It provides high output currents of 1 A continuous and 1.5 A peaks under pulsed conditions.Typical circuit configuration using the WB05 will be a composite amplifier arrangement.Therefore,input capacitance has been minimized to reduce the drive requirement from the driver amplifier WB05.A sleep mode feature has been incoorporated to lower quiescent current during standby modes for battery powered applications.

WB05 has many unique features: The first one is high output current which is 1 A DC,1.5 A peak.The second one is wide supply voltage rating which is ±5 V to ±15 V.The third one is separate front-end and output supplies.The forth one is low saturation voltage which is 3.5 V.The fifth one is low quiescent current which is 30 mA.The sixth one is sleep mode control which is 2.5 mA. The seventh one is high full power bandwidth which is 70 MHz,etc. Otherwise, it can be applied to laser diode drive,gate drive for large fets, and semiconductor testing.

There are some absolute maximum ratings about WB05. Supply voltage is 30 V(+Vs to -Vs, +Vc to -Vc).Output current us 1.5 A with SOA. Powr dissipation(internal at Ta is 25) is 1.5 W.Temperature(pins solder-10 sec max) is 300.Temperature(junction) is 175.Storage temperature is -65 to 150.Operating temperature range(case) is -25 to 85.
