The W88227F is a CD-ROM decoder. W88227F is available in PQFP 128 package. It has some features as follows. (1) support automatic ATAPI hardware macro; (2) support automatic target header search and header comparison; (3)support automatic cache buffer management and transfer; (4)support Q-channel data extraction; (5) support high-speed CAV audio playback from DRAM buffer; (6) support left and right channels routing and muting; (7) support IEC-958 digital audio output; (8) programmable system clock for decoder operation; (9) support flash programming through IDE interface.
