The VS620 and VS621 are 10-bit wide, clocked line drivers designed to satisfy the requirements specified in RP-125. Both versions provlde a 10KH ECL compatible, dilferential output for each bit and the clock.
The VS620 has 10KHECL compatible differential lnputs for clock and data. lt operates from a -5.2V and GND supplies. The VS621 has TTL compatible single-ended inputs for clock and data. 11we VS621 requires +5.0 V, -5.2V and GND to operate.
The absolute maximum ratings of VS620/VS621 are supply voltages 6V, power disslpatlon 1250mW, input voltages 5V, differential input voltages 3.5V, operating temperature range: commert: 0to +175, storage temperature range -55 to +150, lead temperature (soldering, 10 Sec.) 300. (packages available 52-Pin plastlc leaded chip carrier (PLCC)). The ten drivers are balanced signal pairs with standard 10KH ECL outputs. The output sections do not require pull-down resistors, but aare designed to function with a maximum output impedance of each driver having a balanced output of 110. The signal amplitude shall be between 0.8 Vp-p and 2.0 Vp-p, measured across a 110 resistor connected to the outputs without any transmission lines.
