VR1101W

The VR1101W is designed as one kind of super bright chip LEDs with surface mount. Its typical applications include telephones, AV equipment and OA equipment.

VR1101W has five features. (1)Ultra compact (single color 1.5mmx3mm, bipolor 2.5mmx3mm). (2)Automatic loading enabled using 8mm width tape. (3)High density mounting. (4)Serialized single and bipolors. (5)Wide range of types. Those are all the mian features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of VR1101W have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its forward current would be 30mA. (2)Its peak forward current would be 70mA. (3)Its reverse voltage would be 4V. (4)Its power dissipation would be 75mW.(5)Its operating temperature range would be from -30°C to 85°C. (6)Its storage temperature range would be from -30°C to +90°C. It should be noted that current derating at temperature above Ta=25°C is 0.42mA/°C (DC), 0.93mA/°C pulsed. Ifm is for tw>=1msec and duty cycle<=1/20. In case of bipolor type, absolute maximum ratings are Pd=75mA, If=30mA, Ifm=70mA when both diodes are ON. And also stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its color is red. (2)Its package color is water clear. (3)Its forward voltage would typ 2.0V and max 2.5V with test conditions of If=20mA. (4)Its reverse current would be max 100uA with test conditions of Vr=4V. (5)Its liminous intensity would have the minimum value of 0.9mcd and the typical value of  2.5mcd with test conditions of 20mA. (6)Its wave length would be typ 30nm and it would be 630nm for peak with test conditions of If=20mA. And so on.
