The VP5313A1N is designed as one kind of NTSC/PAL digital video encoders which converts digital Y Cr Cb data into analog PAL or NTSC composite video, and also provides simultaneous RGB outputs. This additional converter can optionally provide separate luma and chroma outputs plus a further composite video channel. All outputs are capable of driving doubly terminated 75 loads with standard video levels.
VP5313A1N has eleven features. (1)Converts Y, Cr, Cb data to analog RGB and composite or S-video and composite video. (2)Supports CCIR recommendations 601 and 656. (3)All digital video encoding. (4)Selectable master/slave mode for sync signals. (5)Switchable chrominance bandwidth. (6)CCIR 624 PAL SMPTE or 170M NTSC compatible outputs. (7)GENLOCK mode. (8)I2C bus serial microprocessor interface. (9)Only VP5313 supports macrovision anti-taping rev. 7.01. (10)Line 21 closed caption encoding. (11)Teletext insertion, fully line programmable. (2)Its voltage on any non power pin would be from -0.3 to Vdd+0.3V. (3)Its ambient operating temperature range would be from 0 to 70°C. (4)Its storage temperature range would be from -55°C to 150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some electrical characteristics of VP5313A1N are concluded as follow. (1)Its digital inputs TTL compatible (except SDA, SCL) would be min 2.0V for the input high voltage and it would be max 0.8V for the input low voltage. (2)Its digital inputs SDA, SCL would be min 0.7Vdd for the input high voltage and it would be max 0.3Vdd for input low voltage and would be max 10uA for input high current and would be max -10uA for input low current.
