The VN800 is a kind of high side driver.It has two types,VN800S and VN800PT which are monolithic devices. VN800S is available in SO-8 package and PPAK package is for VN800PT.They are especially suitable for industrial applications in norms conformity with IEC1131.It can automatically turn off in case of ground pin disconnection.
The following is some information about VN800's features.(1) CMOS compatible input;(2) Thermal shutdown;(3) Current limitation;(4) Shorted load protection;(5) Undervoltage and overvoltage shutdown;(6) Protection against loss of ground;(7) Very low stand-by current;(8) Reverse battery protection.
