The VCA8500IRGCR is designed as an 8-channel variable gain amplifier consisting of a low-noise pre-amplifier (LNP) and a variable gain amplifier (VGA). This combination, along with the device features, makes it ideal for a variety of ultrasound systems.
VCA8500IRGCR has ten features. (1)Ultralow power: 65mW /channel. (2)Low noise: 0.8nV/Hz. (3)Low-noise pre-amp (LNP) which means 20dB fixed gain and 250mVpp linear input range. (4)Variable gain amplifier which means gain control range: 46dB, selectable PGA gain 20dB, 25dB, 27dB, 30dB, fast overload recovery and output clamping control. (5)Integrated low-pass filter: second-order, linear phase, bandwidth: 10MHz, 15MHz. (6)High accuracy which means low gain error: ±0.5dB and excellent channel matching: ±0.25dB. (7)Distortion, HD2: -50dBc at 5MHz. (8)Integrated CW switch matrix: easy current summing. (9)Serial control interface. (10)Small package: QFN-64, 9x9mm. That are all the main features.
