USD735C

The USD735C is designed as one kind of power schottky rectifiers, in standard TO-220 package, which is specifically designed for operation in power switching circuits to frequencies in excess of 100KHz. It combines schottky rectifiers in one convenient package, thus simplifying installation, reducing heatsink requirements and component parts count.

USD735C has five features. (1)Very low forward voltage. (2)Reverse transient capability. (3)Economical convenient plastic package. (4)Mechanically rugged. (5)50V working voltage at rated temperature. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of USD735C have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its working peak reverse voltage would be 35V. (2)Its DC blocking voltage would be 35V. (3)Its peak re[etitive surge voltage would be 42V. (4)Its average repetitive forward current would be 16A. (5)Its non-repetitive peak surge current 8.3ms would be 200A. (6)Its operating junction temperature would be 150°C. (7)Its storage temperature range would be from -55°C to 150°C. (8)Its thermal resistance junction to case would be 2.8°C/W. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of USD735C are concluded as follow. (1)Its maximum instantaneous reverse current would be 5mA with test conditions of Vr=Vrwm and pulse width=400us and duty cycle=1 percent at Tc=125°C. (2)Its maximum instantaneous reverse current would be 50mA with test conditions of Vr=Vrwm and pulse width=400us and duty cycle=1 percent at Tc=125°C. (3)Its maximum instantaneous forward voltage would be 0.55V at If=8A and would be 0.65V at If=16A and at Tj=125°C it would be 0.48V at If=8A and would be 0.60V at If=16A. (4)Its capacitance would be 1000pF at Vr=5V. (5)Its voltage rate of charge would be 1000V/us with test conditions of Vr=Vrwm. And so on.
