UPD789101

The UPD789101 is UPD789104 sub-series products of the 78k/0s series.It feature an 8-bit CPU,I/O ports,timers,a serial interface,A/D converters,and interrupt control circuits.The functions of the microcontrollers are described in the following user's manual.Refer to this manual when designing a system based on any of these microcontrollers.

Features of the UPD789101 are:(1)bulit-in two 8-bit multipliers:16bits;(2)the rom an ram sizes:the progarm memory is 2kbytes,the data memory is 256 bytes and the package is 28-pin plastic shrink DIP(400 mil) and 30-pin plastic shrink SOP(300mil);(3)variable minimum instruction execution time:from high-speed(0.4s) to low-speed(1.6s)(operation with the main system clock running at 5.0MHz);(4)20 I/O ports;(5)serial interface channel:switchable between three-wire serial I/O and UART modes;(6)four-channel A/D converters with an 8-bit resolution;(7)three times:16-bit timer 20,8-bit timer/event counter 80,watchdog timer;(8)power supply voltage V_DD:1.8V to 5.5V.

The absolute maximum ratings of the UPD789101 can be summarized as:(1)supply voltage, V_DD:-0.3v to +7.0v;(2)input voltage:V_I1(when pins other than those for port 5 is -0.3v to V_DD+0.3v),V_I2(P50-P53,when with N-ch open drain is -0.3v to +13v,when with a built-in pull-up resistor is -0.3v to V_DD+0.3v);(3)output voltage,V_O:-0.3v to V_DD+0.3v;(4)high-level output current,L_OH:each pin is -10ma and total for all pins is -30ma;(5)low-level output current,L_OL:each pin is 30ma and total for all pins is 160ma:;(6)operating ambient temperature,T_A:-40 to +85;(7)storage temperature T_stg:-65 to +150.
