The ULN2003AFW is designed as high voltage, high current darlington drivers comprised of eight darlington pairs. It features integral clamp diodes for switching inductive loads. Applications include relay, hammer, lamp and display (LED) drivers.
ULN2003AFW has six features. (1)Output current single output would be 500mA max. (2)Its high sustaining vltage output would be 50V min. (3)Output clamo diodes. (4)Inputs compatible with various types of logic. (5)Package type-AFW would be SOL-16pin. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of ULN2003AFW have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its output sustaining voltage would be from -0.5V to 50V. (2)Its current would be 500mA/ch. (3)Its input voltage would be from -0.5V to 30V. (4)Its clamp diode reverse voltage would be 50V. (5)Its clamp diode forward current would be 500mA. (6)Its power dissipation would be 0.54W. (7)Its operating temperature range would be from -40°C to 85°C. (8)Its storage temperature range would be from -55°C to 150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some electrical characteristics of ULN2003AFW are concluded as follow. (1)Its output leakage current would be max 50uA at Vce=50V and Ta=25°C. (2)Its collector to emitter saturation voltage would be typ 1.3V and max 1.6V at Iout=350mA and Iiin=500uA and would be typ 1.1V and max 1.3V at Iout=200mA and Iin=350uA and would be typ 0.9V and max 1.1V at Iout=100mA and Iin=250uA.
