The UDN-2935Z integrated circuit is designed for servomotor applications using pulse-width modulation. This two high-current, monolithic half-bridge motor drivers conbine a sink-and-source driver with diode transient protection, input gain, level shifting, logic stages and a voltage regulator for angle-supply operation.

UDN-2935Z has nine features. (1)3.5A peak output. (2)37V min output breakdown. (3)Output transient protection. (4)Tri-state outputs. (5)TTL, CMOS, PMOS, NMOS compatible inputs. (6)Internal thermal shutdown. (7)High-speed chopper to 100kHz. (8)TO-220 style packages. (9)UDN-2935Z replaces SG3635P. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of UDN-2935Z have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage range would be from 8.0V to 35V. (2)Its output voltage range would be from -2.0V to Vs+2.0V. (3)Its input voltage range would be from -0.3V to 7.0V. (4)Its peak output current (100ms, 10% DC) would be +/-3.5A. (5)Its continuous output current would be +/-2.0A. (6)Its operating temperature range would be from -20°C to 85°C. (7)Its storage temperature range would be from -55°C to 85°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
