The UCC2807D-1 is designed as one kind of programmable maximum duty cycle PWM controller which contains all of the control and drive circuitry required for off-line and DC-to-DC fixed frequency current mode switching power supplies with minimal external parts count. It is similar to the UCC3800 family, but with the added feature of a user programmable maximum duty cycle. Oscillator frequency and maximum duty cycle are programmed with two resistors and a capacitor.
UCC2807D-1 has six features. (1)User programmable maximum PWM duty cycle. (2)100A startup current. (3)Operation to 1MHz. (4)Internal full cycle soft start. (5)Internal leading edge blanking of current sense signal. (6)1A totem pole output. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of UCC2807D-1 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage Idd=10mA would be 13.5V. (2)Its supply current would be 30mA. (3)Its out current would be +/-1A. (4)Its analog inputs (FB, CS) would be from -0.3V to Vdd+0.3V. (5)Its power dissipation would be 0.65W. (6)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (7)Its junction temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (8)Its lead temperature soldering 10 seconds would be 300°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
