Description

The UC2825ADW is designed as one kind of high speed PWM controllers. Performance enhancements have been made to several of the circuit blocks. Error amplifier gain bandwidth product is 12MHz while input offset voltage is 2mV. Current limit threshold is guaranteed to a tolerance of 5%. Oscillator discharge current is specified at 10mA for accurate dead time control. Frequency accuracy is improved to 6%.

UC2825ADW has nine features. (1)Improved versions of the UC2825 PWMs. (2)Compatible with voltage or current-mode topologies. (3)Practical operation at switching frequencies to 1MHz. (4)50ns propagation delay to output. (5)High current dual totem pole outputs (2A peak). (6)Trimmed oscillator discharge current. (7)Low 100A startup current. (8)Pulse-by-pulse current limiting comparator. (9)Latched over current comparator with full cycle restart. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of UC2825ADW have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage would be 22V. (2)Its output current source or sink would be 0.5A for DC and would be 2.2A for pulse 0.5us. (3)Its power ground would be +/-0.2V.
