UB30CCT has eight features. (1)Oxide planar chip junction. (2)Ultrafast recovery time. (3)Soft recovery characteristics. (4)Low switching losses, high efficiency. (5)High forward surge capability. (6)Meets MSL level 1, per J-STD-020, LF maximum peak of 245°C (for TO-263AB package). (7)Solder dip 260°C, 40s (for TO-220AB package). (8)Component in accordance to RoHS 2002/95/EC and WEEE 2002/96/EC. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of UB30CCT have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage would be 100V. (2)Its maximum average forward rectified current would be 30A total device and would be 15A per diode. (3)Its peak forward surge current single half sine-wave superimposed on rated load per diode would be 160A for 8.3ms and would be 150A for 10ms. (4)Its electrostatic discharge capacitor voltage would be 8kV. (5)Its operating junction and storage temperature range would be from -55°C to 150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some electrical characteristics of UB30CCT are concluded as follow. (1)Its instantaneous forward voltage per diode would be typ 0.875V at If=7.5A, Ta=25°C and would be typ 0.964V and max 1.05V at If=15A, Ta=25°C and would be typ 0.8V at If=7.5A, Tj=100°C and would be typ 0.892V and max 0.95V at If=15A, Tj=100°C.
