The U1D-E3/61T is designed as one kind of surface mount ultrafast plastic rectifiers for use in low voltage, high frequency rectifier of switching power supplies, freewheeling diodes, dc-to-dc converters or polarity protection application.
U1D-E3/61T has seven features. (1)Oxide planar chip junction. (2)Ultrafast recovery time. (3)Low forward voltage, low power losses. (4)High forward surge capability. (5)Meets MSL level 1, per J-STD-020, LF maximum peak of 260°C. (6)Solder dip 260°C, 40s. (7)Component in accordance to RoHS 2002/95/EC and WEEE 2002/96/EC. Those are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of U1D-E3/61T have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage would be 200V. (2)Its maximum average forward rectified current would be 1.0A. (3)Its peak forward surge current 8.3 ms single half sine-wave superimposed on rated load would be 30A. (4)Its operating junction and storage temperature range would be from -55°C to 150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some electrical characteristics of U1D-E3/61T are concluded as follow. (1)Its instantaneous forward voltage would be typ 0.82V and max 0.87V at If=0.6A, Ta=25°C and would be typ 0.87V and max 0.92V at If=1.0A, Ta=25°C and would be typ 0.71V and max 0.78V at If=0.6A, Ta=100°C and would be typ 0.76V and max 0.84V at If=1.0A, Ta=100°C. (2)Its reverse current would be max 5.0uA at Ta=25°C and would be typ 55uA and max 100uA at Ta=10°C. (3)Its reverse recovery time would be max 15ns with conditions of If=0.5A, Ir=1.0A, Irr=0.25A. (4)Its storage charge would be typ 7nC at Ta=25°C and would be typ 13nC at Ta=100°C. (5)Its typical junction capacitance would be typ 6.8pF. And so on.
