The TVP5147M1PFP is designed as a high-quality, single-chip digital video decoder that digitizes and decodes all popular baseband analog video formats into digital component video. It supports the analog-to-digital (A/D) conversion of component YPbPr signals, as well as the A/D conversion and decoding of NTSC, PAL, and SECAM composite and S-video into component YCbCr. This TVP5147M1PFP decoder includes two 10-bit 30-MSPS A/D converters (ADCs). Preceding each ADC in the device, the corresponding analog channel contains an analog circuit that clamps the input to a reference voltage and applies a programmable gain and offset.
TVP5147M1PFP has thirteen features. (1)Two 30-MSPS, 10-bit A/D channels with programmable gain control. (2)Supports NTSC (J, M, 4.43), PAL (B, D, G, H, I, M, N, Nc, 60) and SECAM (B, D, G, K, K1, L) CVBS, and S-video. (3)Supports analog component YPbPr video format with embedded sync. (4)10 analog video input terminals for multisource connection. (5)Supports analog video output. (6)User-programmable video output formats. (7)HSYNC/VSYNC outputs with programmable position, polarity, width, and field ID (FID) output. (8)Composite and S-video processing. (9)Certified macrovision copy protection detection. (10)VBI data processor. (11)I2C host port interface. (12)Reduced power consumption: 1.8V digital core, 3.3V for digital I/O, and 1.8V /3.3V analog core with power-save and power-down modes.
