Description

The TSOP7000 is designed as a miniaturized receiver for infrared remote control and IR data transmission. PIN diode and preamplifier are assembled on lead frame, the epoxy package is designed as IR filter. The demodulated output signal can directly be decoded by a microprocessor. The main benefit is the operation with high data rates and long distances.

TSOP7000 has eleven features. (1) Photo detector and preamplifier in one package. (2) Internal bandfilter for PCM frequency. (3) Internal shielding against electrical field disturbance. (4) TTL and CMOS compatibility. (5) Output active low. (6) Data rate 20kbit/s. (7) Small size package. (8) Supply voltage 2.7 to 5.5V. (9) Short setting time after power on. (10) High envelope duty cycle can be received. (11) Enhanced immunity against disturbance from energy saving lamps. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of TSOP7000 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its supply voltage would be from -0.3V to 6.0V. (2) Its voltage at output to supply would be -0.3V to Vs+0.3V. (3) Its supply current would be 5mA. (4) Its output voltage would be from -0.3V to 6.0V. (5) Its output current would be 15mA.
