The demodulated output signal can directly be decoded by a microprocessor. It is the standard IR remote control receiver series for 3V supply voltage, supporting all major transmission codes.
TSOP34840UH1 has seven features. (1) Photo detector and preamplifier in one package. (2) Internal filter for PCM frequency. (3) Improved shielding against electrical field disturbance. (4) TTL and CMOS compatibility. (5) Output active low. (6) Supply voltage range would be from 2.7V to 5.5V. (7) Improved immunity against ambient light. That are all the main features.
