The TRSL-9380FW-CXX0 series single mode transceivers is small form factor, low power, high performance module for bi-directional serial optical data communications such as IEEE 802.3z Gigabit Ethernet and 1X/2X Fiber channel. There are eighteen center wavelengths available from 1270 nm to 1610 nm, each step 20 nm. A guaranteed minimum optical link budget of 23 dB is offered. The transmitter section uses a multiple quantum well 1550 nm DFB laser and is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC-60825. The receiver section of the TRSL-9380FW-CXX0 uses an integrated InGaAs detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC. A LVPECL logic interface simplifies interface to external circuitry.
