TRS-73120G

The TRS-73120G series single mode transceivers is low power, high performance module for bi-directional serial optical data communications such Gigabit Ethernet and Fibre Channel. This module TRS-73120G is designed for single mode fiber and operates at a nominal wavelength of 1550 nm. A guaranteed minimumoptical link budget of 32 dB is offered which can correspond to a link distance of over 120 km (assuming worst case fiber loss of 0.25 dB/km). The transmitter section uses a multiple quantum well laser and is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC-60825. The receiver section of TRS-73120G uses an integrated InGaAs Avalanche photodetector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC. A PECL logic interface simplifies interface to external circuitry.
