TRML-8100G

The TRML-8100G series multi-mode transceivers is small form factor, low power, high performance module for bi-directional serial optical data communications such as Fibre Channel 4x/2x/1x and Gigabit Ethernet 1000BASE-SX. This module is designed for multi-mode fiber and operates at a nominal wavelength of 850 nm. The transmitter section of TRML-8100G uses a multiple quantum well 850 nm VCSEL and is a class 1 laser compliant according to International Safety Standard IEC-60825. The receiver section uses an integrated GaAs detector preamplifier (IDP) mounted in an optical header and a limiting post-amplifier IC. A PECL logic interface of TRML-8100G simplifies interface to external circuitry.
