TPS831

The TPS831 is a kind of Si monolythic photo IC. The device is intended for high-speed optical remote controllers, cordless controllers for video games, electronic organizers and other new portable information tools and IR data communication.

There are some features of TPS831 as follows: (1)the device is a photo IC which includes a photodiode, I-V converter, band-pass filter and AGC amplifier on a single chip.; (2)the device's carrier frequency is as follows: fo=455 kHz; (3)the device's supply voltage is as follows: VCC=5 V; (4)visible light cut-off frequency: 800 nm; (5)the TLN105B and TLN115A are available as infrared LEDs for remote controllers.
