TPS826

The TPS826 is a kind of photo IC which contains a light receiving IC integrating photo diode, amplifier circuit and open waveform shaping circuit into a single chip. It is silicon epitaxial planar. The TPS826 is intended for plastic fiber/polymer clad fiber. There are some featuresof TPS826  as follows: (1)compatible with TTL, LSTTL and CMOS; (2)wide operating supply voltage (VCC=4.5 to 17 V); (3)output is directly connectable to IC as it changes digitally; (4)when light is received, output becomes low level.

The following is about the maximum ratings of TPS826 (Ta=25): (1)supply voltage, VCC: 17 V; (2)low level output current, IOL: 50 mA; (3)power dissipation, PO: 250 mW; (4)operating temperature range, Topr: -25 to 85; (5)storage temperature range, Tstg: -40 to 100; (6)soldering temperature (5s), Tsol: 260.

The last one is about the opto-eletrical characteristics of TPS826(Ta=25): (1)supply voltage, VCC: 4.5 V min and 17 V max; (2)high level supply current, ICCH: 1.2 mA typ and 3 mA max when VCC=5 V; (3)low level supply current, ICCL: 2.5 mA typ and 5.0 mA max when VCC=5 V, Pf=50W; (4)high level output voltage, VOH: 4.0 V min at VCC=5 V; (5)low level output voltage, VOL: 0.1 V typ and 0.4 V max at IOL=16 mA, VCC=5 V, Pf=50W; (6)HL threshold light input, PfHL: 5.0W typ and 10.0W max at VCC=5 V, Ta=25, p=660 nm; -23 dBm typ and -20 dBm max at VCC=5 V, Ta=25, p=660 nm.
