The TPS5625PWP is designed as one member of the TPS5615 family which are synchronous-buck regulator controllers provides an accurate supply voltage to DSPs. The output voltage of TPS5625PWP is internally set by a resistive divider with an accuracy of 1% over the full operating temperature range. A hysteretic controller with user-selectable hysteresis is used to dramatically reduce overshoot and undershoot caused by load transients.
TPS5625PWP has ten features. (1)±1% reference over full operating temperature range. (2)Synchronous rectifier driver for >90% efficiency. (3)Fixed output voltage options of 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V. (4)User-selectable hysteretic type control. (5)Low supply current would be 3mA typ. (6)11.4V to 13V input voltage range, VCC. (7)Power good output. (8)Programmable soft-start. (9)Overvoltage / overcurrent protection. (10)Active deadtime control. That are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of TPS5625PWP have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage range, VCC would be from -0.3 to 14V. (2)Its input voltage range: BOOT to DRVGND (high-side driver ON) would be from -0.3 to 30V and would be from -0.3V to 15V for BOOT to HIGHDRV and would be from -0.3 to 15V from BOOT to BOOTLO and would be from -0.3 to 7.3V for INHIBIT, LODRV and would be from -0.3 to 7V for PWRGD, OCP and would be from -0.3 to 14V for LOHIB, LOSENSE, IOUTLO, HISENSE and would be from -0.3 to 5V for VSENSE. (3)Its voltage difference between ANAGND and DRVGND would be ±0.5V. (4)Its output current, VREFB would be 0.5mA. (5)Its short circuit duration, DRV would be continuous. (6)Its operating junction temperature range would be from 0°C to 125°C. (7)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (8)Its lead temperature soldering 1,6 mm (1/16 inch) from case for 10 seconds would be 260°C.
