The TOTX180A is designed as the fiber optic transmitting module for simplex digital signal transmission,features of this part are:(1)data rate:DC to 6 Mb/s (NRZ code);(2)transmission distance:up to 40 m;(3)ceramic package type;(4)TTL interface;(5)LED is driven by differential cuicuit.

The absoulte maximum ratings of the TOTX180A can be summarized as:(1)storage temperature:-40  to 85;(2)operating temperature:-40 to 85;(3)supply voltage:-0.5 to 7 V;(4)input voltage:-0.5 to Vcc+0.5 V;(5)soldering temperature:260.And the recommended operating conditions are:(1)supply voltage:4.75 to 5.25 V;(2)high level input voltage:2.0 Vcc;(3)low level input voltage:0 to 0.8 V.
