The TNY264PN is designed as one kind of enhanced, energy efficient, low power off-line switcher device that has some points of features:(1)No load consumption <50 mW with bias winding and <250 mW without bias winding at 265 VAC input; (2)Meets California Energy Commission (CEC), Energy Star, and EU requirements; (3)Ideal for cell-phone charger and PC standby applications; (4)High voltage powered ?ideal for charger applications; (5)High bandwidth provides fast turn on with no overshoot; (6)Current limit operation rejects line frequency ripple; (7)Built-in current limit and thermal protection improves safety; (8)Lower system cost than RCC, discrete PWM and other integrated / hybrid solutions; (9)Cost effective replacement for bulky regulated linears; (10)Simple ON/OFF control ?no loop compensation needed; (11)No bias winding ?simpler, lower cost transformer; (12)Simple design practically eliminates rework in manufacturing.
