The TMP68652 MPCC formats, transmits, and receives synchronous serial data while supporting bit-oriented protocol or byte-control protocols. The feature of TMP68652 are as follows: (1)DC to 2 mbps data rate; (2)bit-oriented protocols: SCLC, ADCCP, HDLC, X.25; (3)byte-control protcols, DDCMP, BISYNC: character length, SYNC generation detection and stripping, automatic generation and checking of CRC-16 or VRC; (4)maintenance mode for self-checking; (5)bidirectional, three-state, 8 or 16-bit data bus; (6)TTL compatible.

The absolute maximum ratings of the TMP68652 are: (1)supply voltage: -0.3 to 7V; (2)input voltage: -0.3 to 15.0V; (3)output voltage: -0.3 to 15.0V; (4)operating temperature: 0 to 70; (5)storage temperature: -65 to 150.
