      The TOSHIBA SSOP coupler TLP3914 (telecommunication, programmable controllers, mos fet gate driver )is a small outline coupler, suitable for surface mount assembly. The TLP3914 consists of a GaAℓAs light emitting diode, optically coupled to a series connected photo diode array which is suitable for MOS FET gate drive.
      The features of TLP3914 are 4 pin SSOP (SSOP4)= 1.8 mm high, 1.27 mm pitch, Open Voltage=7V (min), Short Current=20A (min), Isolation Voltage=1500Vrms (min).
      The absolute maximum ratings (Ta = 25°C) of TLP3914 are Storage Temperature Range(Tstg)=−55~125°C, DETECTOR(Forward Current IFD /Reverse Voltage VRD/Junction Temperature Tj)=50A/10V/125°C, Operating Temperature Range(Topr)=−40~85 °C, Lead Soldering Temperature (10 s)(Tsol)=260 °C, Isolation Voltage (AC, 1 min., R.H. 60%)(BVS)=1500 Vrms( Device considered a two terminal device: Pins 1 and 2 shorted together and pins 3 and 4 shorted together. (note: Using continuously under heavy loads (e.g. the application of high temperature/current/volt=-age and the significant change in temperature, etc.) may cause this product to decrease in the reliability significantly even if the operating conditions (i.e.operating temperature /current/voltage, etc.) are within the abolute maximum ratings. Please design the appropriate reliability upon reviewing the Toshiba Semiconductor Reliability Handbook ("Handling Precautions"/Derating Concept and Methods") and individual reliability data (i.e. reliability test report and estimated failure rate, etc). )
