TLP280-4

The TLP280-4 is designed as a very cmall and thin coupler, suitable for surface mount assembly in applications such as PCMCIA fax modem, programmable controllers.

TLP280-4 has four features. (1)Collector to emitter voltage is 80V min. (2)Current transfer ratio would be 50% min and rank GB is 100% min. (3)Isolation voltage is 2500Vrms min. (4)UL recognized UL1577, file No.E67349. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of TLP280-4 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its forward current would be 50mA. (2)Its forward current derating would be -0.5mA/°C. (3)Its pulse forward current would be 1A. (4)Its collector to emitter voltage would be 80V. (5)Its emitter to collector voltage would be 7V. (6)Its collector power dissipation would be 100mW. (7)Its collector power dissipation derating would be -1mW/°C. (8)Its collector current would be 50mA. (9)Its operating temperature range would be from -55°C to 100°C. (10)Its storage temperature range would be from -55°C to 125°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some individual electrical characteristics of TLP280-4 are concluded as follow. (1)Its forward voltage would be min 1.0V and typ 1.15V and max 1.3V. (2)Its LED capacitance would be typ 60pF. (3)Its collector to emitter breakdown voltage would be min 80V. (4)Its emitter to collector breakdown voltage would be min 7V. (5)Its detector capacitance would be typ 10pF. (6)Its collector dark current which would be typ 0.01uA and max 0.1uA.
