DescriptionThe TLE7231G is designed as one kind of smart octal low-side switch. This device has the Smart Power Technology (SPT) with a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) and eight open drain DMOS output stages and is protected by embedded protection functions and designed for automotive applications.
Features of the TLE7231G are:(1)low quiescent current< 10A;(2)16 bit SPI (for daisychain);(3)direct parallel control of four channels;(4)PWM input (demux);(5)parallel inputs high or low active programmable;(6)programmable functions such as boollean operation, overload behavior, overtemperature behavior and switching time;(7)general fault flag;(8)digital ports compatible to 5V and 3,3 V micro controllers;(9)electostatic discharge (ESD) protection;(10)full reverse current capability without latchup or loss of function.
