The TLC7225IDW is designed as quadruple 8-bit digital to analog converter which consists of four 8-bit voltage-output digital-to-analog converters (DACs), with output buffer amplifiers and interface logic with double register-buffering. Typical applications included process control, automatic test equipment, automatic calibration of large system and parameters e.g. gain/offset.
TLC7225IDW has six features. (1) Four 8-bit D/A converters with individual references. (2) Direct bipolar operation without an external level-shift amplifier. (3) Microprocessor compatible. (4) TTL/CMOS compatible. (5) Single supply operation possible. (6) Simultaneous update facility. (7) Binary input coding. That are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings about TLC7225IDW have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its supply voltage range would be from -0.3V to 17V for VDD to AGND or DGND and would be from -0.3V to 24V for VDD to VSS. (2) Its supply voltage range would be from -7V to Vdd for Vss to AGND or DGND. (3) Its voltage range between AGND and DGND would be from -0.3V to VDD. (4) Its input voltage range would be from -0.3V to VDD+0.3V. (5) Its reference voltage range would be from -0.3V to Vdd. (6) Its output voltage range would be from Vss to Vdd.
