DescriptionThe TLC545CFN is designed as CMOS analog-to-digital converter built around an 8-bit switched capacitor successive-approximation analog-to-digital converter for serial interface to a microprocessor or peripheral via a 3-state output with up to four control inputs including independent SYSTEM CLOCK, I/O CLOCK, chip select (CS), and ADDRESS INPUT.
TLC545CFN has eight features. (1) 8-bit resolution A/D converter. (2) Microprocessor peripheral or stand-alone operation. (3) On-chip 20-channel analog multiplexer. (4) Built-in self-test mode. (5) Software-controllable sample and hold. (6) Total unadjusted error is ±0.5 LSB max. (7) Timing and control signals compatible. (8) CMOS technology. That are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings of TLC545CFN have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its supply voltage would be 6.5V. (2) Its input voltage range (any input) would be from -0.3V to Vcc+0.3V. (3) Its output voltage range would be from -0.3V to Vcc+0.3V. (4) Its peak input current range (any input) would be ±10mA. (5) Its peak total input current all inputs would be ±30mA. (6) Its operating free-air temperature range would be from 0°C to 70°C. (7) Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. (8) Its lead temperature 1,6 mm (1/16 inch) from case for 10 seconds would be 260°C.
