TL493

The TL493 contains an error amplifier, current-limiting amplifier, an on-chip adjustable oscillator, a dead-time control comparator, pulse-steeringcontrol flip-flop, a 5-volt, 5%-precision regulator, and output-control circuits.

Features of the TL493 are:(1)complete PWM power control circuitry; (2)uncommitted outputs for 200 mA sink or source current; (3)output control selects single-ended or push-pull operation; (4)internal circuitry prohibits double pulse at either range; (5)internal regulator provides a stable 5 V reference supply, 5%; (6)circuit architecture allows easy synchronization; (7)It has output current-limit sensing.

The absolute maximum ratings of the TL493 can be summarized as:(1): supply voltage(Vcc) is 41 V; (2): amplifier input voltage is Vcc+0.3V; (3): collector output voltage is 41 V; (4): collector  output current is 250 mA; (5): operating free-air temperature range is -25 to +85; (6): storage temperature range is -65 to +150.
