TL442M

      The TL442M and TL442C are doubly balanced mixers that utilize two cross-coupled,differential transistor pairs driven by a third balanced pair. The circuit features a flat response over a wide band of frequencies. Operation from single or split power supplies is possible. The TL442M is characterized for operation over the full military temperature range of -55 to 125.
     TL442M and TL442C has six unique features which is as follows: The first one is flat response to 100 MHz. The second one is local oscillator IF isolation which is 30 dB TYP. The third one is local oscillator RF isolation which is 60 dB TYP. The forth one is RF-IF isolation which is 30 dB TYP. The fifth one is conversion gain which is 14 dB TYP. The sixth one is using 12 V or ±6V power supplies.
    There are some absolute maximum ratings of TL442M and TL442C over operating free-air temperature range(unless otherwise noted). Supply voltage(Vcc) is 18V.Input voltage is 7 V. Continuous output current is 10 mA. Continuous total power dissipation at (or below) 25 free-air temperature is 500 mA. Operating free-air temperature range of TL442M circuits is from -55 to 125.   Besides, there are also some inforamtion about its electrical characteristics at 25 free-air temperature and Vcc(12V). Quiescent output voltage(VQ) is 9.6 V min, 10.5 V typ and 11.3 V max (all d-c voltage values are with respect to -Vcc terminal). Supply current(Icc) is 5.5 mA min , 7.4 mA typ and 10.9 mA max(all d-c voltage values are with respect to -Vcc terminal). At last, there are some recommended operating conditions about it. Supply voltage(Vcc) is 12 V nom. Local oscillator inpt voltage is 250 mV rms nom and 300 mVrms max. RF input voltage is 10 mVrms nom and 30 mVrms max. Operating free-air temperature range is -55 to 125.
