The TL442M and TL442C are doubly balanced mixers that utilize two cross-coupled,differential transistor pairs driven by a third balanced pair. The TL442M is characterized for operation over the full military temperature range of -55 to 125.
TL442M and TL442C has six unique features which is as follows: The first one is flat response to 100 MHz. The second one is local oscillator IF isolation which is 30 dB TYP. The third one is local oscillator RF isolation which is 60 dB TYP. The forth one is RF-IF isolation which is 30 dB TYP. The fifth one is conversion gain which is 14 dB TYP. The sixth one is using 12 V or ±6V power supplies.
There are some absolute maximum ratings of TL442M and TL442C over operating free-air temperature range(unless otherwise noted). Supply voltage(Vcc) is 18V.Input voltage is 7 V. Continuous output current is 10 mA. Continuous total power dissipation at (or below) 25 free-air temperature is 500 mA. Operating free-air temperature range of TL442M circuits is from -55 to 125.
