The THAT 2150 Series integrated-circuit voltagecontrolledamplifiers (VCAs) THAT2155 are high-performancecurrent-in/current-out devices with twoopposingpolarity,voltage-sensitive control ports. Based ondbx technology, they offer wide-range exponentialcontrol of gain and attenuation with low signal distortion.The THAT2155 parts are housed in a space-efficient,plastic 8-pin single-in-line (SIP) package, and requireminimal support circuitry. Fabricated in asuper low-noise process utilizing high hFE, complementaryNPN/PNP pairs, the 2150 Series VCAscombine high gain-bandwidth product with lownoise, low distortion, and low offset to offer discreteperformance at IC prices. THAT2155 They are available inthree grades, selected for distortion, allowing theuser to optimize cost vs. performance.
