This is the description about TFS 86 of the VI telefilter filter specification. Reference level for the relative attenuation arel of the TFS 86 is the minimum of the pass band attenuation amin. The minimum of the pass band attenuation amin is defined as the insertion loss ae. The centre frequency fo is the arithmetic mean value of the upper and lower frequencies at the 3 dB filter attenuation level relative to the insertion loss ae. The nominal frequency fN is fixed on 86,85 MHz without tolerance. The given values for the relative attenuation arel and for the group delay ripple have to be reached at the frequencies given below also if the centre frequency fo is shifted due to the temperature coefficient of frequency TCf in the operating temperature range and due to a production tolerance for the centre frequency fo.

Here are the TFS86 features: Ambient temperature is 23°C. Input power level is 0dBm. Terminating impedances for input is 850// -2pF; terminating impedances for output is 850// -2pF.

The TFS86 absolute Maximum Ratings are these. Insertion loss (Reference level) is max 4 dB. Nominal frequency is 86,85 MHz. Operating temperature range is from-20° C to 70° C. Operating temperature range is from -40° C to +85° C. Temperature coefficient of frequency is ca. - 0,036 ppm/K². Frequency inversion temperature is from + 20 °C to + 30 °C.

Vibration: 10 Hz to 500 Hz, 0,075 mm or 1g respectively, 1 octave per min, 10 cycles per plan, 3 plans; DIN IEC 68 T2 6 (3). Damp heat: 90 % to 95 % rel. humidity, 40 °C, 10 days; (steady state) DIN IEC 68 - 2 3. (4). Resistance to solder heat (reflow): max. 2 times reflow process; for temperature conditions refer to the attached "Air reflow temperature conditions"
