Description

      This is the description about TFS37 of the VI RELEFILTER Filter specification, IF filter for digital cable TV. Reference level for the relative attenuation arel of the TFS 37 is the insertion loss. The insertion loss ae is defined as the insertion loss at the nominal frequency fN.
      Here are the features of TFS37: Ambient temperature is 25°C. Input power level is 0dBm. Terminating impedances for source is 50; for load is 2k II 3 pF.
      The absolute Maximum Ratings of TFS37 are these (TA = 25°C). Insertion loss (Reference level) is 13,5 ± 1,5 dB. Nominal frequency is 37,4 MHz. Group delay ripple p-p in fc ± 3,75 MHz is 50 ns. Reflected wave signal suppression 49 dB is min. 42 dB. Feedthrough signal suppression 56 dB is min. 50 dB. Operating temperature range is from - 25°C to +65°C. Temperature coefficient of frequency is - 0,072ppm/K2. Frequency inversion temperature is +20°C to + 30°C. Storage temperature range is from - 40 °C to + 85 °C.
      These are Stability Characteristics of TFS37. After the following tests the filter shall meet the whole specification:
1. Shock: 500g, 18 ms, half sine wave, 3 shocks each plane; DIN IEC 68 T2 27. 2. Vibration: 10 Hz to 500 Hz, 0,35 mm or 5g respectively, 1 octave per min, 10 cycles per plan, 3 plans; DIN IEC 68 T2 6. 3. Change of temperature: -55 °C to 125°C / 30 min. each / 10 cycles DIN IEC 68 part 2 14 Test N. 4. Resistance to solder heat (reflow): reflow possible: twice max.; for temperature conditions, please refer to the attached "Air reflow temperature conditions".
