TEA6000

The TEA6000 is designed as one kind of FM/IF system circuit intended for microcomputer controlled radio receivers. The circuit includes an AM/FM-IF counter and an analogue-to-digital interface. The I.F. counter generates AM/FM precision tuning and accurate stop information.

Features of the TEA6000 are:(1)3 stages IF limiter for driving a ratio detector;(2)2 stages level detector with current output;(3)operational amplifier for active filtering (e.g. multipath detector);(4)high resolution frequency counter for FM and AM IF-signals;(5)time base reference from crystal oscillator or external source;(6) serial two wire bidirectional computer interface;(7)multiplexed 3 bit A/D converter for two input signals;(8)software controlled sensitivity for both ADC inputs.

The absolute maximum ratings of the TEA6000 can be summarized as:(1)supply voltage pin 2, pin 12: 13.2 V;(2)power dissipation: 1300 mW;(3)storage temperature: -55 to +150 ;(4)operating ambient temperature: -30 to +85 ;(5)from crystal to ambient: 50 K/W.
