The TEA1069A is designed as versatile speech / dialler / ringer with music-on-hold which contain all the functions needed to build a highly featured, high performance fully electronic telephone set.
TEA1069A has many features. For the speech part the first one is voltage regulator with adjustable static resistance. The second one is low DC line voltage; operates down to 1.6V (excluding polarity guard). The third one is supply for dialler part and peripherals (not stabilized). The fourth one is symmetrical high impedance inputs for dynamic, magnetic, or piezoelectric icrophones. The fifth one is asymmetrical high impedance input (32k) for electret microphones. The sixth one is asymmetrical earpiece output for dynamic, magnetic, or piezoelectric earpieces. The seventh one is internal mute to disable speech during dialling. The eighth one is confidence tone during DTMF dialling. The ninth one is line-loss compensation (line-current dependent) for microphne and earpiece amplifiers. The tenth one is gain-control curve adaptable to the exchange supply. That are all the main features.
