The TDD1742T is designed as one kind of low power, high performance frequency synthesizer in local oxidation CMOS technology. This device is designed for use in channelized VHF / UHF applications especially portable and mobil radios. The circuit incorporates many of the features of the HEF4750V (frequency synthesizer) and HEF4751 (universal divider), including a high-gain phase comparator together with an on-chip sample-and-hold capacitor and phase modulator.
Features of the TDD1742T are:(1)on-chip sample-and-hold capacitor;(2)low power consumption;(3)high-gain phase comparator with low levels of noise and spurious outputs;(4)auxiliary digital phase comparator for fast locking;(5)on-chip phase modulator;(6)simple interfacing to external memory;(7)microcontroller compatible;(8)power-on reset circuitry.
