DescriptionThe TDA7376B is a new technology dual bridge Audio Amplifier in Multiwatt 15 packagedesigned for car radioapplications.Thanksto the fullycomplementary PNP/NPN output stage configuration the TDA7376Bdelivers a rail-to-rail voltage swing with no need of bootstrap capacitors. Differential input pairs, that will accept either single ended or differentialinput signals,guaranteehighnoise immunity making thedevice suitable for both car radioand car boostersapplications.
The audio mute control of the TDA7376B, that attenuates the outputsignal of theaudio amplifiers, suppressespop on - off transients and cuts any noises coming from previousstages. The St-By control, that debiases the amplifiers, reduces the cost of the powerswitch. The on-board programmable distor-tion detector allows compression facility whenever theampifier is overdriven,so limiting the distortion at any levels inside the presettable range.
