The TDA5142T is a bipolar integrated circuit used to drive 3-phase brushless DC motors in full-wave mode. The device is sensorless (saving of 3 hall-sensors) using the back-EMF sensing technique to sense the rotor position.
TDA5143T includes a brake function and 6 pre-drivers able to control FETs or bipolar external transistors. It is ideally suited for high-power applications such as high-end hard disk drives, automotive and other applications.
