The TDA2025 is designed as 20W to 50W power amplifier for automotive and entertainment applications featuring full protection from external thermal and electrical malfunctions. The IC conbines 2 complete power amplifiers configured as a class A-B bridge. The integrated resistor network in the positive and negative feedback loops set the gain for each amplifier to 30dB. The inputs for the inverting and non-inverting gain (pre-amp) stages are tied in parallel resulting in a full bridge configuration woth 36dB of gain and superior "switch-on" / "switch-off" characteristics.
Some absolute maximum ratings about TDA2025 have been concluded into several points as follow. The first one is about its supply voltage which would be from 0.3V to 45V. The second one is about its output current which would be from -4.0A to +4.0A. The third one is about its input voltage (pin 5) which would be from -0.3V to 6.0V. The fourth one is about its input voltage (pin 2) which would be from -0.3v to Vs. The fifth one is about its junction temperature which would be +150°C. The sixth one is about its storage temperature range which would be from -50°C to +150°C.
