The TDA1006A is designed as one kind of motor regulator with automatic tape-end indicator with some points of functions:(1)capstan motor speed control;(2)an electronic motor stop in conjunction with hysteresis slip-coupling or commutator pulses;(3)an automatic switch from playback to radio at tape-end;(4)palyback indication with lamp;(5)tape-end indication with intermittent light.

The absolute maximum ratings of the TDA1006A can be summarized as:(1)supply voltage: 18 V;(2)indicator lamp voltage: 22 V;(3)mono / stereo switching voltage: 4 V;(4)indicator lamp current: 100 mA;(5)indicator lamp turn-on current (peak value): 200 mA;(6)total power dissipation: see fig.2;(7)storage temperature: -55 to +150 ;(8)operating ambient temperature: -25 to +150 .
