The TCSS111 is deisgned as optoelectronic interrupter with schmitt-trigger output logic. Typical applications is contactless optoelectronic switching and monitoring.

TCSS111 has eight features. (1)Output active high. (2)Buffer open collector. (3)TTL compatible. (4)Small dimensions. (5)Case plastic polycarbonate protected against ambient light. (6)No adjustment. (7)Four package variations. (8)Two apeture variations. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings TCSS111 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its reverse voltage would be 6V. (2)Its forward current would be 60mA. (3)Its forward surge current tp<=10us would be 3A. (4)Its emitter power dissipation would be 100mW. (5)Its emitter junction temperature would be 100°C. (6)Its supply voltage would be 6.5V for Vs1 and would be 18V for Vs2. (7)Its output current would be 20mA. (8)Its detector power dissipation would be 250mW. (9)Its detector junction temperature would be 100°C. (10)Its total power dissipation would be 350mW. (11)Its ambient temperature range would be from -25°C to 85°C.
