TCM8240MD is an area color image sensor , at 1.3 Mega-pixels of array resolution (1300x 1040) , incorporating a camera signal processor . The optical format of the TCM8240MD is 1/3.3 inch, of which small size is suitable for built-in camera module application. Use of the CMOS process makes possible low power consumption operations. This sensor provides superb picture quality thanks to Toshiba's advanced sensor technology and Toshiba's sophisticated signal processing technology.
