TCM2910A

The TCM2910A is designed as one kind of single-chip pulse-code-modulsted encoders/decoders (PCM CODECs) that provide all the functions required to interface a full duplex (4-wire) voice telephone circuit with a time-division-multiplexed (TDM) system.

TCM2910A has ten features. (1)It is designed to be interchangeable with intel 2910A. (2)Compatible with CCITT recommendations G.711 and G.712. (3)u-255-law encoding and 8th-bit signaling compatible with AT&T D-type channel banks. (4)TTL compatible digital inputs and outputs. (5)Optional programmable time slot selection. (6)Low operating power consumption which would be 230mW typ for active and 33mW typ for power down mode. (7)+/-5% power supplies +12V, +5V, -5V. (8)High-reliability advanced N-channel MOS technology. (9)Low external component count. (10)PEP processing available. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings TCM2910A have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its Vcc, Vdd, ANLG GND and DGTL GND with respect to Vbb would be from -0.3V to 20V. (2)Its all inputs and outputs with respect to Vbb would be from -0.3V to 20V. (3)Its temperature under bias would be from -10°C to 80°C. (4)Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics TCM2910A are concluded as follow. (1)Its high level input voltage would be min 2V. (2)Its low level input voltage would be max 0.6V. (3)Its high level input current would be max 10uA. (4)Its low level input current would be max -10uA. (5)Its high level output voltage would be min 2.4V. (6)Its low level output voltage would be max 0.4V. (7)Its decodr output offset voltage would be min -50mV and max 50mV.
