TCD5340C

The TCD5340C is designed as a frame interline CCD area image sensor developed for a 3-CCD color camera (NTSV TV system). This TCD5340C has signal pixels of 1163 (horizontal) x492 (vertical), and its image size agrees with 2/3 inch type optical system.

TCD5340C has six features. (1)Total signal pixel number is 1232(H)x495(V). (2)Signal pixel number is 1163(H)x492(V). (3)Its pixel size is 7.8um(H)x13.6um(V). (4)Its image size is 9.1mm(H)x6.7mm(V). (5)Its package is 24 pin DIP, Ceramics, multi-corting glass. (6)Additional function is electronic shutter (1/60 to 1/10000s). Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of TCD5340C have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its vertical CCD clock pulse voltage would be from -10V to 18V. (2)Its horizontal CCD clock pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 18V. (3)Its reset pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 18V. (4)Its output gate voltage would be from -0.3V to 18V. (5)Its output transistor drain voltage would be from -0.3V to 18V. (6)Its test terminal voltage would be from -0.3V to 18V. (7)Its operating temperature range would be from -20°C to 60°C. (7)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to 85°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of TCD5340C are concluded as follow. (1)Photo sensitivity would be min 65mV/ls and typ 80mV/lx. (2)Its saturation voltage would be min 600mV and typ 800mV. (3)Its dark signal voltage would be typ 1mV and max 2mV. (4)Its reset pulse feed through would be typ 400mV and max 700mV. (5)Its smear would be typ -120dB and max -110dB. (6)Its output impedance would be typ 250ohms and max 300ohms. (7)Its output transistor current would be typ 11mA and max 15mA. (8)Its blooming margin would be min 8500 times. And so on.
