TCD1501C

The TCD1501C is designed as high sensitive and low dark current 5000 elements CCD image sensor for facsimile, imagescanner and OCR.

TCD1501C has six features. (1)Number of image sensing elements is 5000 elements. (2)Image sensing element size is 7um by 7um on 7um centers. (3)Photo sensing region which would be high sensitive and low voltage dark signal pn photodiode. (4)Its clock is 2 phase (5V). (5)Its package is 22 pin DIP. (6)Internal circuit is S/H circuit. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of TCD1501C have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its clock pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (2)Its shift pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (3)Its reset pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (4)Its clamp pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (5)Its sample and hold pulse voltage would be from -0.3V to 8V. (6)Its power supply voltage would be from -0.3V to 15V. (7)Its operating temperature range would be from -25°C to 60°C. (8)Its storage temperature range would be from -40°C to 100°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of TCD1501C are concluded as follow. (1)Its sensitivity would be min 10.4V and typ 13V and max 15.6V. (2)Its photo response non uniformity would be max 10%. (3)its saturation output voltage would be min 2V and typ 3V. (4)Its saturation exposure would be min 0.13lxs and typ 0.23lxs. (5)Its dark signal voltage would be typ 1.0mV and max 2.0mV. (6)Its dark signal non uniformity would be typ 2.0mV and max 3.0mV. (7)Its DC power dissipation would be typ 240mW and max 325mW. (8)Its total transfer efficiency would be min 92%. (9)Its output impedance would be typ 0.5kohms and max 1kohms. (10)Its dynamic range would be typ 3000. And so on.
