Description
The TCA3727 is a kind of 2-phase stepper-motor driver.It is a bipolar, monolithic IC for driving bipolar stepper motors, DC motors and other inductive loads that operate on constant current.The control logic and power output stages of TCA3727 for two bipolar windings are integrated on a single chip which permits switched current control of motors with 0.75 A per phase at operating votlages up to 50 V.
Features of the TCA3727 are:(1)2 x 0.75 amp./50 V outputs; (2)integrated driver, control logic and current control(chopper); (3)fast free-wheeling diodes; (4)max.supply voltage 52 V; (5)outputs free of crossover current; (6)offset-phase turn-ON of output stages; (7)Z-diode for logic supply; (8)low standby-current gain; (9)full, half, quarter,mini step.
The absolute maximum ratings of the TCA3727 can be summarized as:(1): supply voltage(Vs) is 0 V min and 52 V max; (2): logic supply voltage(VL) is 0 V min and 6.5 V max; (3): Z-current of VL (IL) is 50 mA max; (4): output current(IQ) is -1 A min and 1 A max; (5): ground current(IGND) is -2 A min and 2 A max; (6): logic inputs(VIXX) is -6 V min and VL+0.3 V max(IXX;phase 1,2;inhibit).
